the SCOOP It was the best of times, it was the worst of times...our standard bevy of moisturizing oils, plus a healthy dose of soothing lavender oil to ease away the existential gloom of industrialization, not to mention all that yuckiness that's been pouring our of the smokestacks. Naturally colored with alkanet root and activated charcoal. Fitting, really.

the SMELL: A classy blend of lavender, anise, and palmarosa - floral and discreet with a certain repressed spicyness. It's the soap Jane Eyre would have used.

Ingredients (net wt. 4+ oz): water, glycine soja (soy) bean oil, elaeis guineensis (palm) kernel oil, cocos nucifera (coconut) oil, elaeis guineensis (palm) oil, sodium hydroxide (saponifying agent), oryza sativa (rice) bran oil, helianthus annuus (sunflower) seed oil, ricinus communis (castor) seed oil, lavandula angustifolia (lavender) oil, illicium verum (anise) oil, cymbopogon martini (palmarosa) oil, alkanet root, willow charcoal
